Doctors Find Bug in Ear of Teen Football Star
A teen football star woke up with noise and pain in his right ear. It turned out there was more than wax buildup in there.
He hurried to a clinic in Stillwater, where he was examined and told that a dime-sized beetle had taken up residence in his ear. Problem was, it had burrowed in so deep the doctor couldn't remove it ... Asp was sent to United Hospital where the beetle was surgically removed.

She Had a Bat Day
You think you had a bad day? Try finding out that you've been drinking bat tea all day. A woman went to clean out her tea cup and discovered a drowned bat in the cup. Apparently she'd been sipping bat tea all day. Thankfully, the bat was tested and did not have rabies.
The brown bat, about the size of two tea bags, was found a few weeks ago by a 60-year-old Woodbury County woman, said Chuck Cipperley, an environmental director for the Siouxland health office in Sioux City.
